i love my new sister
hi. it's me, bat. mom said i could blog about holly today so that everycat could know how she's doing. last week mom took holly to the vet. when the vet examined her, she found a big big big deep deep deep wound at the base of holly's tail! it was infected! the vet shaved some of holly''s fur off and cleaned the wound up really good and told mommy she had to give holly some medicine twice a day for ten whole days! that's a really long time. holly doesn't like her medicine AT ALL! it smells and tastes like bananas! so everytime mommy goes to get holly out of her kennel to give her medicine, holly fights and scratches and hisses and growls. yesterday holly was so bad that mommy couldn't give her any medicine at all! this afternoon mommy went to get holly out for medicine, but holly was not a nice girl and tried to claw mommy in the face and got a big scratch on mommy's hand! so mommy left the door to the kennel open and just sat on the floor and talked to holly. i went and laid down right next to the kennel and tried to pet holly through the cage. i love her and want her to be my friend. and do you know what happened then? you'll never ever ever guess! holly started purring! mommy says she couldn't believe her ears! later mommy was able to give holly some more medicine, but mommy says there has to be one more time of medicine, then holly can come out of her kennel and play with us! yay! i'm so excited!

poor Holly - no wonder she hazzn't been happy. infecshuns make ya feel really yucky. we're furry amazed ya made her purr. that's way good! she must love you too.
Poor Holly, being sick and sore probably made her so unhappy. The fact that you went over and soothed her says a lot. Good for your mommy to be so patient and take such good care of her!

Bat, it sounds like you really helped defuse the situation. You're so nice to your new sissy! Mom says she feels for your mom because she's got a medicine-hater also (Ninna).

That's amazin. If I was sick an Victor came up, I certainly wouldn't start purring. No way! I'd be growlin an hissin an definitely swatting. My woman has only once tried to pop a pill down my throat, and, muhahahaha, failed. Not THIS attack tabby! Holly will realize life's better if she's nicer, but there's no need to go ofurboard an become a lap cat. Beans will serve us anyway.

pocket treat no telling what 11 years will do for a cat. Thank you for my blanket i luff it I am sleeping on it as mewo only time i leave it unattened is to eat drink or move to the heated napper. Iris is sleeping on her on the other sun chair I let her use it since mine is on a sun chair too. Thanks for making them
Poor Holly! I know meddycin is yucky but it reely werks so yu haff to take it. I'm all done wiff mine and I feel all better now.
Poor Holly. Who knows how much pain you've been in. I'd hiss & growl too if I'd been through everything you have. Just hang in there. Once you're feeling better you'll realize your family wants nothing more than to love & take care of you.
